MRI RESULTS

Below: Amyloid β (Aβ) is a fragment of the APP protein that, when it 
misfolds and clumps together, forms amyloid plaques, 
one of the main hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease.

I had a brain MRI on July 7. What follows is a comparison of the brain MRI on January 23.

MR Brain WO IV Contrast

COMPARISON: 1/23/2025   

FINDINGS:   

·    Cerebrum: Normal signal intensity. No mass effect, midline shift, hemorrhage, or acute infarct.

·        

·    Cerebellum: Normal.

·    Brainstem: Normal.

·    Ventricles: No hydrocephalus.

·    Extraaxial spaces: Normal.

·        

·    Bones: No focal osseous lesion.

·    Visualized sinuses: Partial opacification of the mastoid air cells. Mucous retention cyst in the left maxillary sinus

·    Other: Normal intracranial intravascular flow voids.  

·        

IMPRESSION:

·     Stable examination. No acute intracranial process.
